Hi! Thanks for checking out my website.

My name is Margaret Waterman and I’m a junior studying journalism at Boston University. I was born and raised in Concord, Mass. I graduated from Concord Carlisle High School in 2011 and will graduate from BU in 2015.

I recently retired from my post as the Campus Editor of The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s independent student newspaper. Skilled at reporting, editing and AP style, I’m eager to continue my education as a journalism student. Here, you’ll find my website, which features a collection of some of my favorite print clips and some other journalistic works. Feel free to click around and see what I’ve been up to at BU and in Boston.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I love skiing and played collegiate field hockey at an NCAA Division 3 school for one year before transferring to BU. I also love reading and writing, as well as watching movies and writing film reviews. Lastly, I love to travel and hope to spend more time abroad in the coming years — I’m set to move to London for a semester on Jan. 10!

To see examples of my work from both the FreeP and from Boston.com, click the “Print clips” tab on the top menu bar. There, you will see works that vary from hard news to features. If you would like to see more examples of my work, please don’t hesitate to reach out and contact me!
